What is holding me back from letting go? I think it’s still feeling unsafe, like I’m a fugitive running away from the people in my past.

I’ve learned that I need a balance between wallowing in feelings and ignoring them.

I don’t have much in the way of any frame of reference for true happiness that isn’t from my childhood which was a lot more peaceful than my youth.
