The Temple is the heart and soul of Burning Man, and we’re building it in Alameda, CA. On the playa, it will become the place where people go to spill out their hearts on the walls, through writing or art or altars that they’ve created. People bring mementos, letters, photos, even the ashed of deceased loved ones, to let them go into the fire when the Temple burns on Sunday night.

It’s an extraordinary, touching, and poignant experience.

But the structure is funded by the community and not by the organizing body of Burning Man and we’re down to the wire, with $1800 to be raised in the next 2 days.
