    Dear Vicky:
You wrote: “my husband and I have been trying to live our lives by the Laws of the Universe.” and “We have been ‘following our passions’ for years, acting on every opportunity that came our way, keeping our eyes and ears open.” Can you list the laws of the universe you are referring to? Is “acting on every opportunity that came (your) way” one of these rules of the universe?

And what do you mean by acting on every opportunity? For example I have the opportunity right now (it is an extreme example, of course) to jump off my deck (hoping I can fly but am likely to fall)- do I take the opportunity?

If you answer these questions, if you find them worthwhile I can give more thought to your post and hope it is helpful to you…

Sometimes it helps me to think, “what is the worst thing that could happen?” If the worst thing were to happen, would it really be the worse thing? In financial situations, an example could be– in your example: “I would have to sell my beloved pram.” Maybe releasing your attachment to “things” will help bring abundance to you? Maybe abundance means abundance of love or creative/spiritual fulfillment? Hang in there… I have often heard that the darkest times are just before the light. I hope your light is just around the next corner!

Thank you raven11 🙂 I meant that my pram is up for sale (as are most of the things that we have that are of any value) but no-one is buying them!

Anita, you’re right, I should’ve been more specific. I’m just in the middle of something at the moment, but give me a little while and I will put together a better explanation 🙂

Thank you both for your thoughts 🙂

    Hi Victoria,

Most people in your shoes would have fallen apart and turned to alcohol/drugs – you are a strong person and a good soul !

Sometimes in life, when it rains….it pours !!

You need to start from a place of security first…being very conservative with your finances and future decisions.

GOD bless and good luck !
