Dear Patrick:

Welcome back, and congratulations for accomplishing what you previously aimed at accomplishing: quitting a 30-year habit of smoking weed, and attending University beginning March this year!

You mentioned Hagakure, here is one quote from the book that feels meaningful to me today: “To give a person an opinion one must first judge well whether that person is of the disposition to receive it or not”.
