Dear Sameer:
Regarding anger, impatience, behavior in the workplace: as you already observed, things are not like they should be. Inefficiency, dishonesty/ politics, personal issues, all these make for very frustrating dynamics for a person who expects things to work like they should: efficiently, honestly, fairly.
First adjustment: stop expecting things to be like-they-should. The world would be a much better place, by far, if things happened like they should, in governments, businesses, in the streets, and inside homes. But this is not the world we live in.
Second adjustment: be authentic to yourself and at the same time you make first adjustment. So you don’t compromise what you value and, at the same time, you don’t get distressed when others don’t act according to what you value.
Third adjustment: you behave in the most effective ways for you, being authentic to yourself and choosing your behaviors with others considering who they (individually) are, what motivates a particular person. Not so to dishonestly manipulate that person, but so to be effective with that person, while, always, remaining authentic.
Your thoughts? Also, about your anger, “from birth”- more details?
