Don’t date Mark- bad idea. Use the site to get to know men without getting intimate with them. In previous threads, you shared that your father is controlling of your mother (and you) and that she doesn’t stand up to him for her own sake, or for your sake. You wrote that you don’t want to be like her. So, don’t let a men on the dating site control what happens to you.

If you do not get involved physically with these men and if you study them with objectivity, you will be free to get to know them without the heavy price of “feeling like crap” (the title of your thread).
